Luke asks Rory to help after he learns that Jess is flunking out of high school, but during their first study session, Jess
convinces Rory to take a drive and crashes her car, landing Rory in the hospital. Lorelai explodes at Luke for putting Rory
in danger, and Luke puts Jess on a bus for New York.
